The Data Strip is a key item in Sea of Stars. There is a total of 4 of them, which are found in treasure chests in Seraï's World. They can be used on the workbench within Seraï's house at Repine to obtain the Cypher.

Cerulean Reservoir | Open the treasure chest on the north edge of the Cerulean Reservoir. |

Repine | Open the treasure chest on the ground level of the east side of Repine. |

Fleshmancer's Lair | In the room containing LeJugg's laboratory in the Fleshmancer's Lair, use the Mistral Bracelet to push a rolling eyeball to the right side of the room. Use it to break the spikes in order to access and open the treasure chest. |
