Profile[]
Appearance[]
Erlina has reddish-pink hair, that she wears in a bun. The top of her hair that is decorated with a golden hair piece and two horn-shaped ornaments. She wears a multi-layered dress with detachable, puffy sleeves. The front of her outfit is decorated with a sun ornament over the waist.
Personality[]
Like Brugaves, Erlina at first is seen as a kind, caring individual when meeting the young Zale and Valere, encouraging them to work on their magic. She is bolder than Brugaves, as seen when she attempted to warn Zale and Valere about the lives of Solstice Warriors, only to be silenced by Moraine. Generally, she has a serious attitude.
Later, when it is revealed that Erlina and Brugaves betrayed Moraine and the others, Erlina shows her true nature: ruthless, calculating, and deceptive. She goes along with Brugaves's plan to let Zale and Valere live, but this is mainly because she cares about Brugaves himself - and she has been protective of him ever since they were children. She has always been bitter about her life as a Solstice Warrior and after the tragedy with the Dweller of Strife, became disillusioned about her purpose. She also hates Moraine for forcing such a life upon her and Brugaves, as well as Zale and Valere.
Erlina is also power-hungry, as seen when she asks Aephorul for power above all, something he grants to her as Elysan'darëlle.
Abilities[]
Erlina's powers are all about the mind, so she created her own personalized weapon to fully unleash her potential. She fights using 5 small prisms which she controls with her powers of telekinesis, to then focus sun magic through them creating shapes of searing light.
As a basic attack she levitates one prism on each side of her target and creates a quick ray connecting the two. Special moves get more intricate with different configurations and prism counts, up to using all five for her signature move "the pyramid."[3] Some of her attacks go along with Brugaves's, and she uses her prisms to combine their magic into a powerful combo attack.

During her early life, Erlina, alongside Brugaves, were trained to be Solstice Warriors under Moraine, With Erlina showing a strong gift with her magic. However, one day, Erlina and Brugaves witnessed Moraine returning from a mission gone wrong, with him being the only survivor. Erlina and Brugaves would eventually become Solstice Warriors, though both would be disillusioned on their true purpose.
Some time later, Mooncradle would receive two new Children of the Solstice, Valere and six months later Zale, with Erlina responsible for training Zale when he was old enough. At some point during their training duties, they came into contact with the Fleshmancer Acolytes, who they struck a deal, with one of the terms being Erlina wanting to be stronger.
After Zale and Valere graduated from the academy, Erlina, alongside Brugaves, Moraine, and the townsfolk saw them off for them to fulfill the next part of their test by visiting the Elder Mist.
Much later on, Erlina arrived at the Town of Lucent with Moraine and Brugaves to reunite with Zale and Valere for the battle against the Dweller of Woe. They then went to the Haunted Mansion, where Erlina and Brugaves were tasked with clearing and securing the basement while Zale and Valere were sent to dispatch the Botanical Horror. Soon after, they regrouped and confronted the Dweller of Woe, who, after Garl's assistance in providing the eclipse needed to weaken it, was defeated by the five Solstice Warriors. Before the core could be dealt with, Seraï, the assassin that accompanied Zale, Valere, and Garl in the mansion, suddenly appeared to take Brugaves hostage. However, he was freed by Erlina, who then cut off the group with her prism barrier and revealed their deception when the Fleshmancer Acolytes arrived to bring out the Dweller of Strife using a blood moon that was created by Erlina and Brugaves. After their work was done, Erlina, Brugaves, and the Acolytes departed the mansion.
Both Erlina and Brugaves later confronted the two Solstice Warriors outside of Clockwork Castle in an attempt to buy the Acolytes time to complete their work with the Dweller of Strife. Despite putting up a decent fight, they lost to both of their former protégés.
After the Dweller of Strife was hit with the Vial of Time during its battle with the Solstice Warriors, Erlina and Brugaves witnessed the return of Aephorul, who, after a brief conversation with Resh'an, decided to grant Erlina's desire to become more powerful than ever. After getting assurance from the Fleshmancer that the former Solstice Warrior will have her desire, she departed through the open portal with the others.
With Aephorul's power, Erlina shed her former identity and memories and became Elysan'darëlle, the Fleshmancer's most trusted lieutenant. Later, she was summoned by Aephorul himself when he was confronted by the Solstice Warriors and their comrades, where she engaged them in battle. However, despite gaining more power and taking on another form, she was bested by the group. Despite pleading for another chance, she was killed by Aephorul before he retreated from his lair with Resh'an.
In the game's real ending, Elysan'darëlle survives since she was not summoned by Aephorul due to Garl's intervention. In the credits, she is seen confronting Barma'thazël in an unknown location.

― Brugaves - ↑ At the end of Autumn Hills, a flashback dated 20 years ago depicts the time period before Valere and Zale were born.

"One stretch goal was to have a Brugaves flashback somewhere during Act 6. For this sequence, we need Erlina and Brugaves to be around ten to twelve years old, and Moraine to also be twenty years younger, however you imagine him!"
