The Great Eagle is a character in Sea of Stars. He serves as Resh'an's alter ego. In this form, he sometimes brings a newborn baby to Mooncradle during a solstice.

Appearance[]
The Great Eagle is a bird with beige feathers on his head and tail, and vermilion feathers on his wings and body. He has a purple "cloak" of feathers on the sections of his wings close to his shoulders, with yellow "clasps" along the upper half of said cloak.
Main Story[]
Long before the events of the main story, Aephorul gifted Resh'an the ability to become the Great Eagle as a birthday gift. Later, the Great Eagle becomes the deliverer of Children of the Solstice to Mooncradle.
Once Resh'an joins the party, he transforms into the Great Eagle whenever he uses his ultimate attack of the same name in combat, and when he flies from Clockwork Castle to the Mountain Trail after the party defeats the Dweller of Strife. After Resh'an and the party defeat the Triumvirate of Eminence, it is revealed by Abstarak that many of their species, the birdmen, had to be sacrificed in order for Resh'an to take on that form. This causes Resh'an to leave the party, instead leaving a puppet in his place.
