Melee Matey is an enemy in Sea of Stars. After completing "The Sea of Nightmare" section of the game, and defeating the Melee Mateys in the Town of Lucent and Dweller's Fall Arena, it becomes impossible to fight additional Melee Mateys.
Profile[]
Appearance[]
Melee Matey is a humanoid ghost pirate enemy with pale skin, pointed ears, and long hair that splits into three main sections at the ends. Both of its cheeks are marked with bright pink scars. It wears a tricorn-like hat with exaggerated tall folds and a pin in the center, along with a dark blue and pink striped bandana around its head. It also wears a wide necked, low cut white shirt underneath a short sleeved cropped jacket with large padded shoulders and lapel pins that resemble sea shells. It has earrings, wide cuffed midarm length gloves, brown shin high boots, black and white striped stockings, a long pink sash around its waist with torn fringes, and a short skirt marked with two small rectangular accents. In one hand, it wields a large, broad cutlass with three rings embedded in its blade. In the other, it holds a smaller knife.
The normal variant has blue skin and hair, purple hat and skirt, dark blue jacket, green pins, and gold earrings, sword rings, gloves, and skirt accents. The variant in Dweller's Fall Arena has purple skin, mint green hair, gray hat and skirt, dark pink jacket, blue pins, and light gray earrings, sword rings, gloves, and skirt accents.

"Displayed XP" is the data the game presents upon completion of a battle, and this value is derived from the internal XP multiplied by 2 then multiplied by the party level (internal XP * 2 * party level = displayed XP). If the player levels up, then the data presented in the "Displayed XP" columns of this chart becomes inaccurate, as the true displayed value is the sum of the internal XP multiplied among multiple party levels.
