"I have a better idea! How about the three of you join my army... permanently?"
― Romaya
Romaya is a character in Sea of Stars. She is the first necromancer, known as the evil one of the Three Sisters.
Romaya is encountered as a required boss at the Necromancer's Lair, and again as an optional boss at the Half-Sunken Tower.
Profile[]
Appearance[]
Romaya has teal hair that covers her right eye and a large pink rose on the right side of her hair. Her face is pale and wrinkled with hollow cheeks and a pointed nose. Her visible eye has black sclera, a rose-colored iris, and prominent eyelashes along the bottom. She wears a bodice shaped to look like a skull and a high-necked top with a skeletal pattern on it. The bodice has sharp, upward-pointing spikes on the shoulder that are hollow, with ribbed red insides; the left one is twice the size of the right one. She has sleeves that are black and red, with outward flares at the wrist, revealing her pale hands. She wears an asymmetrical skirt that is primarily short, with a long tail at the left that curves behind her left ankle; it is black with a blue hem on the outside, a red waist, and a red lining. Under it she wears red leggings, under tall boots the same red at the bottom with a black, pointed knee section.
Personality[]
Romaya is a wicked person with a grumpy attitude. She becomes agitated easily and has a tendency to outburst and yell when she is angry. She takes pleasure in her work as a necromancer, and threatens to make Zale, Valere, and Seraï a part of her undead army. She vocally expresses her distaste for trespassers and for being disrespected.
Boss Fights[]
Overview[]
Romaya is accompanied by a Flesh Pile and Bone Pile, and she has the ability perform Necromancy upon them in order to summon Lonzons from the Flesh Pile, Revenants from the Bone Pile, and Gulguls with both piles. Destroying these piles prevents Romaya from summoning any more of these undead enemies for the rest of the fight.
First Fight[]
The first boss fight against Romaya is fought with Zale, Valere, and Seraï as the available party members. Her first move of the battle is always Necromancy.
Second Fight[]
The second boss fight against Romaya is fought with Zale, Valere, Seraï, Resh'an, and B'st as the available party members. Unlike her first fight, Romaya has Haste naturally applied to her timer, and she integrates two new moves into her moveset, Bone Pillar and Bone Cage. Her first move of the battle is always Necromancy.

"No doubt, but Romaya is one of the Three Sisters. And the most formidable one of the bunch, too. As to whether or not that makes her more powerful than Solstice Warriors, I hope we won't have to find out."
