Main Story[]
Centuries ago, Stormcaller was the captain of a pirate crew that went on many adventures and gained many riches. He was the most powerful wind mage the world had ever known. Upon hearing of Hortence's resignation from his pirate crew, Stormcaller became insulted and stopped conjuring wind for the ship's sails, leaving the crew stranded in the middle of the ocean.
After the crew ran out of food and water, they forced Stormcaller to walk the plank. As he sank into the ocean, he cursed the ship to be ensnared in an eternal storm. Centuries passed, and the crew eventually succumbed to the cursed location and lost their minds, except for Hortence, who persevered. She and Stormcaller have since been pitted against each other in an endless struggle in the Sea of Nightmare, where Stormcaller continues to attempt to sink the ship.
During the events of the game, he is confronted by the party, who disables the barrier towers around his island. He then engages them in battle, but despite getting assistance from Hydralion, he is defeated and vanquished, ending The Vespertine's curse.

"Displayed XP" is the data the game presents upon completion of a battle, and this value is derived from the internal XP multiplied by 2 then multiplied by the party level (internal XP * 2 * party level = displayed XP). If the player levels up, then the data presented in the "Displayed XP" columns of this chart becomes inaccurate, as the true displayed value is the sum of the internal XP multiplied among multiple party levels.
