Sylgain is an optional mini-boss in Sea of Stars, encountered during Gold Rank of Dweller's Fall Arena. He is based on Sylvain Cloutier (a.k.a. "Sclout," or "Sabout"), a programmer at Sabotage Studio.[2]

Overview[]
Sylgain is fought with Valere, Zale, and B'st as the available party members. His first move of the battle is always a regular attack, and he has Haste naturally applied to his timer.

Sylgain performs two flicker jabs which do not connect, then uppercuts a single party member. If they guard the uppercut, they take damage at that moment. If they do not guard the uppercut, they are launched up into the air and off-screen, then they land on the ground and take damage, having another chance to perform a guard.
