Zale
Juggler
Born on the Summer Solstice, Zale was trained as a blade-dancer. He walks the path of the Guardian God Solen.
For his Solar Magic to manifest in the fight against the cursed carnival, he will need to cast his sword aside and leverage his agility to become a Juggler.Profile[]
Appearance[]
Zale has bright yellow hair. He wears white pants, a red shirt, and a blue sash that goes across his waist. Around his waist is an orange cape and around his neck is a white scarf. He wields the sunblade, an orange and yellow sword that is curved, resembling a khopesh.
Personality[]
Zale displays optimism and boldness, and he is more intense in comparison to Valere. Like Valere, he is reserved due to being isolated in Zenith Academy for a decade of his childhood, though he becomes more outgoing when socializing with his two close childhood friends, Valere and Garl. Zale and Valere are fixated upon fulfilling their duties as Solstice Warriors, a burden they take seriously, giving little regard to pursuing endeavors unrelated to their heroic roles.

Main Story[]
- This section is incomplete. You can help by expanding it.
During their childhoods in Mooncradle, Zale and his friends Valere and Garl recklessly venture into the Forbidden Cavern, where Garl loses his left eye protecting the former two from monsters. Headmaster Moraine rescues the children by dispatching the monsters with lunar magic, then takes the children back to the village. Separated from Garl, Zale and Valere are escorted to Zenith Academy to begin their training earlier than originally planned.
Trivia[]
- Zale and Seraï's combo is called "X-Strike," a possible nod to the Double Tech of same name used by Crono and Frog in Chrono Trigger.

"Is it true that he can turn into light?"
― Villager - ↑ At the end of Autumn Hills, a flashback dated 20 years ago depicts the time period before Valere and Zale were born.
The birth of Valere is stated to have occurred after at least a few months have passed, along with an additional amount of time described by the narration that states "Later that year." While it is possible it is still the same calendar year, these two timeframes combined may have progressed the timeline into the next calendar year."Two decades ago, in the village of Mooncradle..."
"A few months later, at Zenith Academy..."
"Later that year, at the Winter Solstice Festival..."
"Six months later, at the Summer Solstice Festival..."
Additionally, an unknown amount of time passes between the beginning of the game to the end of Autumn Hills, and from the end of Autumn Hills to the ending of the game, which would impact the characters' ages further."The Great Eagle! Deliveries on two solstices in a row!"
― Villager - ↑ Valere and Zale were born on the same calendar year.
"With only three Solstice Warriors left, a ray of hope appears as two Children of the Solstice are born during the same fateful year."
